Teen C.A.M.P
Collaborate-Adventure-Mentor Program
This is a NEW take on our former CIT/LIT Programs for those going into 9th or 10th grades. This CAMP will focus on:
*Leadership and taking initiative
*Teamwork
*Project planning
*Speaking in front of groups
*Gaining work and mentoring experience
*Collaborating with the Summer Camp community
*Fun experiences and adventures!
COST*: $225 resident / $275 non-resident
GRADES 2024/2025 School Year: 9th or 10th
Space is limited.
*additional one-time Camp Membership fee is required: $15 (resident); $20 (non-resident)
TEEN CAMP DAILY SCHEDULE:
Morning: Camp group assignments or Teen CAMP activity
Mid-Day: Lunch with assigned camp groups
Afternoon: Traditional camp or specialized activities
All Teen CAMP participants are expected to:
ACTIVELY participate in all Teen CAMP activities
Work as a team- add input and learn from others
Step out of comfort zones, try new things
Leave phones at home
Follow all Pawling Summer Camp policies
Mentor younger campers as a Counselor-in-Training
Show respect & kindness towards others
Communicate effectively
Assist Counselors & Staff with daily operations
Fill out the required pre-program survey that will be emailed to each participant
2024 CAMP SESSIONS:
ONE: July 8 - July 19
Trip: Taconic Outdoor Education Center- Cold Spring, NY
TWO: July 22 - August 2
THREE: August 5 - August 16
FOUR: August 19 - August 30
Due to the nature of the Teen C.A.M.P. program and the focus on team building, extended time frame projects, mentorship, and relationship-building, this program IS NOT ELIGIBLE for weekly registration. Registration for a full, two-week session is required.
DROP-OFF: Between 8:45-9am
PICK-UP: Between 3:45-4pm
