Pawling Recreation Refund Policy


Refunds: 
  • Cancellation/refund refund requests must be submitted via email (recreation@pawling.org).
  • A doctor's note or supplemental information may be requested when considering a refund request.
  • Refunds or household credits will be given for programs cancelled by the Recreation Department due to low enrollment.
  • The Town of Pawling Recreation Department cannot refund the “credit card convenience fee” as that money is not collected or kept by the Town.
  • Refunds are issued from the Town Board and the timing of refunds being processed is dependent upon the Town Board meeting schedule.
  • No refunds will be made if a child is removed from a program for behavioral issues.
  • There will be no refunds for waterfront memberships/daily passes for closures due to weather or any other closures out of our control.
  • Refunds may not be issued once your registration is complete.  However, In the case that recreation programs are canceled due to an official order from the state, county, or department of health, the Town of Pawling Recreation Department WILL offer prorated refunds OR household credits for the program fees affected. Pawling Recreation will also discuss the possibility of refund/account credit issued IF the child must withdraw from a program for a medical reason.
