This is a mom-focused group designed to provide a welcoming, low-pressure space for mothers of pre-walking babies to connect, build community, and share the realities of early motherhood.
While the focus is on supporting moms, babies are absolutely encouraged to attend and be part of the environment.Participants are invited to bring their own coffee, settle in, and enjoy meaningful conversation with other moms navigating a similar stage of life!
The early months of motherhood can feel isolating. This group aims to:
- Foster social connection and community among local moms
- Provide emotional support through shared conversation and experience
- Offer a consistent, safe space to talk about life, motherhood, and everything in between
- Encourage moms to get out of the house in a relaxed, baby-friendly setting
Each session will be informal and welcoming with no rigid agenda. Typical elements may include:
- Open conversation (ex: postpartum life, navigating work & motherhood, sleep, self-care, identity as a mom) and social time
- Floor space for babies to lie, play, or nap in carriers
- A judgment-free atmosphere where feeding, soothing, and baby needs are fully supported
Why Pre-Walkers?
Limiting the group to pre-walking babies helps maintain a calm, manageable environment and allows moms to connect with others in a similar developmental stage. This creates consistency and comfort for both moms and babies.
