A "family" is up to two parents and their children under the age of 18. Children 2 and under are FREE. Upon purchase of a 2024 family membership, it will be reviewed by our staff. If family memberships are purchased incorrectly, membership tags will not be activated until issues are resolved.
***In compliance with Dutchess County Department of Health regulations, children less than 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult responsible for their safety and behavior while at the waterfront.**
You cannot share your membership.
You may access the waterfront while lifeguards are on duty and also during camp hours.
The public uses a separate area of the beach from campers.
LIFE JACKETS ARE REQUIRED FOR USE OF ALL WATER EQUIPMENT - including (but not limited to) row boats, kayaks, corcls, wgwags, kayaks, the waterslide and any other water equipment.
Life jackets must be worn and secured properly for use of all water equipment.
A swim test will be administered for all children under the age of 12. If the child does not pass, they must be accompanied by an adult 18 years or older when using any boating equipment.
2024 Lakeside Park Beach Policies
Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult (18+)
No swimming when a lifeguard is not on duty.
Parents are responsible for watching their children at all times.
Personal flotation devices must be coast guard approved. Check with a lifeguard if you have a question.
Bathing suits are required for all swimmers.
Infants must wear waterproof swim diapers. Regular diapers are not permitted in the lake.
Alcohol and smoking are prohibited.
This is a public park. Keep the language appropriate for all AND no loud radios/music
No fishing in the swim area or off swimming docks.
Lifeguards and Recreation Staff are present to enforce rules and maintain safety. Please respect them.
